[GH 138] Abattoir & Satori – Megaloschemos

Satori, continuing a project first started in the 1980โ€™s founding member Dave Kirby brings an onslaught of industrial soundscapes, pounding drums and a dystopian vision of a world commited to destroying itself.
Comprising a mixture of harsh noise and power electronics with a harder and heavier percussive beat than before Satori enter 2018 with a collection of new songs โ€œDispossessionโ€ based on the physical and mental disconnect facing everyone in the modern world. A constant pervasive undercurrent of violence, the feeling of a society on the brink of a total meltdown and the fears and torments of the powerless individual.

Lorenzo Abattoir is an Italian-based noise artist and sound engineer from Torino. His work takes shape in a context of underground extreme noise music to become accessible through projects related to sound art. โ€œThe sound of chaos merging with order, where every detail and nuance seems to be carefully regulated and controlledโ€.

[GH 131 CD] In Slaughter Natives – Psicofonias: Las Voces Desconocidas

In the year 2008 the documentary called โ€œPsicofonรญas: Las Voces Desconocidasโ€ was shot by the film director Jose Moral. This was about the voices of dead people where echoes of spirits leave us some footprint after death. Humankind has believed during a long time that it is possible to communicate with dead people. Over the years, seances, mediums and psychics have been possible instruments to make contact with the afterlife.
So, EVP is an espiritual footprint and a communication link to the soundtrack in this documentary. This one relies on some of the most important projects of the Dark Ambient Industrial music: In Slaughter Natives, which is a pioneer in the symphonic industrial field and part of the legendary label Cold Meat Industry. This music project is formed by Jouni Havukainen who carries out an outstanding and deep work full of aspects where in some parts we can listen the voices of dead people.
